Ralph Lauren

One of the great pleasures of working at RL is the variety of design opportunity—it never gets boring. "Ralph Lauren" is an umbrella over multiple brands, including Collection and Purple Label (luxury), Polo Ralph Lauren and Lauren Ralph Lauren (mid-market), as well as Polo Sport, Polo Golf, RL Home and RL Paint (not to mention Club Monaco and Chaps). Between the usual seasonal marketing and more complicated projects (sponsorships like the Olympic Games, for example), we keep pretty busy and are always trying to advance this legendary brand in new ways.

I came to RL as a web designer fresh out of grad school in 2012. My first two years at the company allowed me to flex into projects for every brand. As a Design Director (since 2014), I first focused on the Polo Ralph Lauren brands including the launch of Polo for Women and Polo Sport as well as the 2016 Rio Olympic Games capsule online experience for Bloomingdales.com and Macys.com.

In late 2016, I transitioned to overseeing all digital output for Lauren Ralph Lauren with a special focus on its rebranding. My team works across all seasons on content strategy and execution for online marketing assets, display media and product knowledge materials. While planning is the largest part of the job, there's plenty of hands-on work: campaign concepting, art direction of supplemental shoots, and day-to-day design direction for all branded digital assets.

Always more to come...

2015 | World of Ralph Lauren

Still on-figure and product photography for the World of Ralph Lauren holiday gift guide, a large-scale content project on Macys.com representing a universal shopping hub for all of Ralph Lauren's brands (Polo, Lauren and Denim & Supply). While I worked independently on the initial project launch in 2014 (art directing and designing solo) in 2015, the design team joined forces to knock out an even more robust experience. The project has been so successful and lucrative, it is anniversaried annually.
